Here’s an easy puzzle I can see working for themes like Pirates, Knights, School Rivals…pretty much any theme where flags can be incorporated.
Description
Four banners are visible. Each one has a symbol on it. On the walls are painted many of the same symbols. Count the number of symbols around the room that are on each banner to get a four-digit code.
Supplies Needed
- Banners
- Symbols – you can paint them on, find iron-ons, or get some professionally made
- Banner Wall Mounts
Set-Up Instructions
- Create your banners – one of each
- Hang them up high
- Paint the symbols on the other walls, or on tokens that are to be collected
- If there are 4 spades painted around the room (or 4 tokens with the spade symbol on them), the first number would be 4 since it’s the first banner in the row of banners (like the image above shows).
- If using tokens, hide them around and/or put them in locked boxes
Increasing the Difficulty
You could also have the order of the colors hidden somewhere so that the banners are not originally in the correct order.
